why don't we ask god to show us, if we need to talk to somebody else, he'll show us. listening? say amen. i said to my children right when they got to teenage 13, 14 there about, i said look, i want both of you to find an adult you have lots of confidence in. somebody you think you can say anything to. i want you to develop a friendship with that person so when you want to talk to them about something you don't want to talk to me about. you say you should be the kind of dad they can talk about anything. not necessarily. all of us have private things in our life what's going on. my kids talk to me about most things. but look, there may be something you don't want to tell me. i want you to find somebody you can trust. and they won't tell me. but i want you to be able to tell somebody else something maybe you're going through, maybe you had some temptation something you did. it hurt you so bad to have to tell me. tell this person. and you all work it out. well, both of them found a person.
